We can all gain so much from being outdoors

At Whats Not To Hike, we're driven by a dual passion: teaching life-saving first aid skills and giving people the opportunity and confidence to explore, connect and enjoy the outdoors.

While I personally lead most of our activities, I'm supported by a small, dedicated team of equally experienced and friendly instructors and leaders. We all bring something different to support your training and our broad experiences ensure that you will receive the best quality instruction and guidance. Most importantly, our team will provide an unforgettable experience, ensuring we maximise your enjoyment and learning in a safe and rewarding way.

TESTIMONIALS

Went along for my bronze navigation award with Lizzy and Mike. Such a great weekend. Learning pace was excellent and the content was very much tailored to my needs. Put everything to the test with a solo hike in the Peak District a week later and was very pleasantly surprised about my confidence levels. Thanks a lot for the invaluable knowledge.

Ida, Navigation Training

After initially doing a fundraising walk with Whats Not To Hike, we decided that a walk for the whole team would be beneficial – it allowed us to get to know each other outside of the workplace and for some great natural conversations. Lizzy was approachable, organised and made sure the walk was suitable for the whole team. We had a great morning. Thank you!

Helen, Team Walk

I cannot recommend Whats Not To Hike enough – I’ve now been on two hikes that they have led & organised & both have been incredible. The routes planned have been beautiful with a huge variety of terrain. The organisation is amazing & I have always felt completely safe & looked after throughout. I genuinely cannot wait to get my next hike with Whats Not To Hike in the diary!

Emma – Guided Day Walk

I am the Events Manager at a charity called The Passage. We work with Lizzy at Whats Not to Hike to organise our two annual fundraising walks. Lizzy is fantastic to work with, has so much knowledge and makes our life so much easier. The support prior to the event for us as a charity and our participants is brilliant and the day always runs smoothly. Everyone loves taking part in our walks, the team are super friendly and I’d highly recommend Whats Not to Hike

Rachel, Charity Fundraising Walks

Really enjoyable first aid training, it was informative, everyone was made to feel a part. Lizzy was great, the best First Aid Training I have been on, with her friendly and approachable manner. Thank you.’
